It takes about 20 hours to manufacturer a HIFLY Sandwichboard. The first step is with the aid of a plastic mold to make a styrafoam core. Then the board is laminated with various sandwich materials and the inserts are made. Vacuum sealing is then used to finish off the laminating process. It is sanded, grounded and varnished. Footpads and designs are added prior to the spraying of the surface. Before being packaged, all fins are checked to ensure proper fitting.
