Cayuga 146 by Old Town
The Cayuga 146 is part of polyethylene sport touring kayaks from Old Town. They have a dry hatch conveniently located in front of the cockpit for easy access, ergonomic Extrasport XtraComfort seat, front and rear hatch with bulkheads for dry storage with a convenient cross-lock hatch cover to provide a watertight seal. Padded thigh braces, deck shockcord for on-deck storage, perimeter line for safety and retractable carry handles are standard. Optional rudder.

Carolina 12 and 14 by Perception
The Carolina 12 and 14 heritage is steeped in the Carolina series tradition that made them the most popular transitional touring kayaks in the world. The new Carolinas have improved stability and performance with the new v-shaped hull with soft chines, making them easier to paddle for novice paddlers. The large cockpit, about 38 inches long, allows for easy sentry and exit while padding on the cockpit rim makes for comfortable paddling with one's knees up. The new Carolinas have perimeter deck rigging and bungee to secure gear, and a rear oval hatch and 10" bow hatch for storing gear. The Carolina 12 is not offered with a rudder but can be retro-fitted with a rudder kit. The Carolina 14 ( seen below ) will have a rudder option.
